Dealing with pain may be one of the most frustrating medical ailments that people experience. Identifying the cause of the pain and determining the appropriate course of action will alleviate and potentially reverse the aggravating symptoms. Pain may be caused by various elements related to work, recreation, accidents, diseases, or repetitive everyday activities. Arthritis, cancer, migraines, fibromyalgia, strenuous manual labor, or even simply sitting at a desk typing all day causes pain and affects a wide range of individuals in almost any circumstance.
There are two categories for pain, which are acute (or temporary) pain and chronic (or long-term) pain. The treatment options depend on the type of pain, the severity of the pain, and any other external elements that is causing the pain to fluctuate (e.g., cold weather, certain physical activities, etc.). There are a number of home pain management techniques to relieve symptoms. These include, but are not limited to:

- Restorative therapy
- Medication, as necessary if ordered by your physician
